1. Adenomyosis pregnancy outcome after pituitary down-regulation and assisted reproduction in endometriosis patients (pdf) :

The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of GnRHa therapy on the pregnancy outcome in endometriosis patients with and without adenomyosis.

No significant differences were found in pregnancy outcome between patients with/without adenomyosis and GnRHa therapy. Pregnancy, in th is group of patients , is generally achieved within 12 months after laparoscopy and mostly through IVF.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of combining laparoscopy with long – term GnRH treatment on IVF results in patients with different stages of endometriosis.

Although we did not find a statistical differen ce in pregnancy outcome between groups with various stages of endometriosis, combined treatment including laparoscopy and prolonged GnRH agonist treatment before IVF is effective for achieving pregnancy in patients with endometriosis after several unsucces sful IVF trials.
