Elite Clinic’s private car transfer:
Transfer from Tallinn airport, port or some other place patient names to your hotel in Tartu or to Elite Clinic costs one direction 375 EUR and 2 directions 650 EUR. In practice – you inform your contact person from Elite Clinic about the date and time you want to meet our driver and that’s all.
The distance of Tallinn Airport-Elite Clinic in Tartu is 174 km and usually it takes max 2 hours to drive (maybe a little bit less but that depends on the day and time you are coming, Friday evening more traffic etc). Our experienced driver will be waiting for you inside Tallinn airport, port or some other place with a sign with your name and right after meeting the driver in the meeting point you start your journey to Elite Clinic. This is the fastest way.
Only high standard (Porsche Cayenne S, Porsche Macan or Porsche Panamera) safe cars are used.
Public transport – bus:
Buses leave almost every 30 minutes from 5.40 in the morning (5.40 a.m.) until 23.00 at night (11 p.m.). Some buses offer also WiFi service.

From Tartu bus terminal you will need to take a taxi to drive to Elite Clinic. It takes about 15 minutes to drive. Price of taxi is approximately 8 EUR. You can take a taxi from bus station. From bus station it takes about 10-15 minutes on foot to reach the city centre and town hall square.
Public transport – train:
Balti Jaam is near the harbour, so taking a train is an option if you arrive to Tallinn rather by boat and not by plane. Trains offer also WiFi service.

From Tartu train station you will need to take a taxi to drive to Elite Clinic. It takes about 5 minutes to drive. Price of taxi is approximately 3-5 EUR.
You can take a taxi from the train station. From train station it takes about 25 minutes on foot to reach Elite Clinic.
Arrival by your own or rented car:
In Estonia, as in continental Europe, the traffic drives on the right-hand side of the road.
Estonian law requires an international driver’s license and valid insurance policy.
During daylight hours, dipped headlights or daytime driving lights must be switched on. After dark, the main headlights must be switched on.
The driver and the passengers must wear seat-belts at all times.
Speed limits are as follows, unless marked otherwise:
- In built-up areas, maximum speed limit 50 km/h
- Outside built-up areas, maximum speed limit 90 km/h, and in summer, some roads allow maximum speeds of 110 km/h.
International fuel stations are easy to find. The largest international chains operating in Estonia are Statoil and Neste.
Parking in the city centre (Tartu, Tallinn) and Old Town (Tartu, Tallinn) area must be paid for. First 15 minutes parking is free. A valid parking ticket must be displayed in your windshield from 7:00-19:00 (in Tartu 8:00- 18:00) on weekdays and 8:00-15:00 on Saturdays in the city centre (in Tartu during weekend there is no charge). In the Tallinn Old Town, parking must be paid for 24 hours a day. Tickets are sold by special guards. Guarded and indoor parking lots are also available.
